Professional Summary
Hardware innovation leader with over a decade of experience bridging the gap between software and hardware through innovative processor architecture research. I have identified and solved the fundamental abstraction gap between object-oriented software and linear hardware memory models.
As a three-time startup founder, I have raised £4M in venture capital, led teams of up to 17 people (14 engineers), and filed 4 patents. My companies have generated nearly $500K in revenue while serving clients globally. I have technical expertise spanning from web technologies to SystemVerilog, including compilers, debuggers, and formal verification using Agda.
My research background includes formal verification of the Integrated Hardware Garbage Collector (IHGC), working with Professor David May (designer of Inmos and XMOS processors). This work demonstrated 2-5x performance improvements while eliminating memory safety vulnerabilities at the hardware level.
I have experience building and leading both fully remote international teams (across US, UK, Netherlands) and hybrid UK teams. My leadership approach emphasizes building trust and maintaining strong relationships, evidenced by weekly travel between Bristol, Cambridge, and London to support team cohesion at VyperCore.
My communication experience includes self-produced educational videos, technical presentations to investors, and complex technical documentation. I have taught at university level and received awards for computer science outreach, reaching over 1,000 primary school students.
I am seeking opportunities to apply breakthrough technology to solve commercially valuable problems with measurable impact. I am open to relocation within the UK, Europe, or USA for the right opportunity.

Experience
VyperCore
Co-founder & CTO
2023 – 2025 • Innovative Processor Architecture
Co-founded with Russell Haggar to commercialize Object Memory Architecture research, raising £4M Series Seed funding from five UK VCs. Built and led a team of 17 people (14 engineers) across Cambridge and Bristol offices. As CTO, scaled the original IHGC design and demonstrated 2-5x performance improvements while eliminating memory safety vulnerabilities. Filed 4 patents working with Marks & Clerk IP attorneys. Responsibilities included investor pitching, technical due diligence, partnership management with leading processor vendors, and serving as company director and financial controller.
Emizio
Lead Engineer
2022 – 2023 • Carbon Accounting Platform
Lead engineer for carbon accounting and sustainability platform. Responsible for technical architecture and engineering leadership. Emizio sold their business to a larger competitor within 9 months of me leaving, largely following the product plan I had developed.
Midspace (Clowdr CIC)
Co-founder & CEO
2020 – 2022 • Virtual Conference Platform
Co-founded virtual conference platform serving academic institutions globally during the pandemic. Bootstrapped to nearly $500K revenue in first 16 months, serving over 30 conferences with thousands of participants each. Built platform from scratch using open-source technologies. Led fully remote team of 7 people across UK, USA, and Netherlands. Managed all business operations including engineering, recruitment, sales, contracts, live event support, financial control, and legal compliance. Primarily served public and third-sector US academic institutions.

2013 – 2016 • Educational Operating System
Developed C# operating system requiring custom compiler from MSIL to assembly code. This project led to discovery of the fundamental abstraction gap between C#'s object memory model and hardware's linear memory architecture — the foundation of subsequent PhD research and Object Memory Architecture breakthrough.
Imagination Technologies
Intern
2013 – 2014 • Windows Graphics Drivers Team
Work experience and internships with Windows Graphics Drivers team during GCSEs and A-levels. Exposure to low-level systems programming, operating systems, drivers, and hardware interfaces. This experience revealed the fundamental layers beneath application programming and influenced subsequent career direction.
Slide My Way
Co-founder & Software Engineer
2011 – 2013 • HTML5 Advertising Platform
Co-founded at age 15, developing the first complete HTML5 animated advertising platform with in-browser editor, launching nearly 10 months ahead of Google's equivalent. Demonstrated early ability to identify market opportunities and execute innovative technical solutions, though unable to compete with Google's market reach.
